Alexey Komarov

Alexey Komarov has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Alexey is currently working as the Head of Design Group at Tinkoff, one of the largest digital banks in the world. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Product Designer at Alfa-Bank, the largest phygital bank in Russia. Alexey also has experience as a Lead UX/UI Designer at IBM, where they worked on projects for clients such as Aeroflot and Gazprom Neft. In addition to their corporate roles, Alexey has also been involved in education, working as a Mentor and Course Author at Yandex Practicum, a Leading Lecturer and Course Author at Bang Bang Education, and as the Head of the Design Faculty at Sreda Obuchenia. Alexey has also served as a Lecturer at the British Higher School of Art and Design and as a Guest Lecturer at HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL. Prior to their corporate and educational roles, Alexey worked as a UX/UI Designer at UIDG, a leading Russian UX-agency.

Alexey Komarov has a strong educational background in computer science and design. Alexey holds a postgraduate degree in Art Direction & Design Leadership from the British Higher School of Art and Design, as well as a postgraduate degree in UX Research from the Higher School of Economics. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science and Cybersecurity from Moscow State University of Transport (MIIT) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Furthermore, Alexey has acquired additional certifications, including Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM, Mobile App Marketing from Netology, and Product Owner from Digital October Center.
