Jacqueline Yau

Jacqueline Yau is the current Head of Insurance at Tint. Jacqueline has over 10 years of experience in risk management, insurance, and consulting.

Jacqueline started their career at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 2010 as a Lead Consultant. In this role, they provided insurance and risk management advice to companies with complex risks.

In 2017, Jacqueline left Zurich to join Corporate Risk Solutions, LLC as Vice President. In this role, they oversaw insurance programs for companies undergoing mergers and acquisitions and advised asset management firms on risk management strategies.

In 2019, Jacqueline joined Scoot Networks as Manager of Global Insurance. Scoot was a micromobility startup that operated a fleet of electric vehicles including mopeds, e-bikes, and stand-up scooters. Jacqueline was responsible for managing all aspects of risk management at Scoot.

In July 2019, Bird acquired Scoot and Jacqueline became the Manager of Global Insurance at Bird. Bird is a micromobility company that offers electric scooter rentals in cities around the world.

In September 2019, Jacqueline left Bird to join Exelixis as Director of Risk Management. Exelixis is a publicly traded biotechnology company. Jacqueline was the first risk management hire at Exelixis.

Jacqueline has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jacqueline Yau attended the University of Southern California, where they majored in economics and political science with a minor in kinesiology.

They are on a team with Jérôme Selles - Co-Founder & CTO, Jeremie Rouah - Product & Design Lead, and Matt Dulac - In House Counsel. Jacqueline Yau reports to Matheus Riolfi, Co-Founder & CEO.
