Abdul Saboor

Abdul Saboor has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Tintash from January 2020 to October 2021. In this position, they performed various testing techniques for web-based and mobile applications, documented and executed test cases, and identified defects using JIRA/Trello. Abdul also conducted integration, regression, E2E, API, smoke and sanity, UI/UX, and retesting.

Abdul then moved up to a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Tintash starting in October 2021. Here, they focused on API testing using Postman to ensure functionality, security, performance, and reliability of the application. Abdul also conducted database testing to validate the schema, tables, columns, triggers, and validations.

Currently, Abdul is working as a QA Automation Engineer at Tintash since January 2022. Their responsibilities include writing UI automation scripts for regression testing using Cypress and JavaScript. Abdul integrated these scripts into the bitbucket CI/CD pipelines to improve automated testing throughout the software development life cycle.

Before their career in software quality assurance, Abdul worked as a Voice Over Artist at Fiverr, starting in December 2018.

Abdul Saboor's education history begins with their matriculation from Cathedral High School, which they completed from 2002 to 2012. After that, they attended Punjab Group of Colleges from 2012 to 2014 and obtained a degree in Fsc. (pre engg.). Following this, Abdul Saboor pursued their bachelor's degree in Information Technology, specializing in Computer Science, at the University Of Central Punjab from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Abdul Saboor has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they acquired the ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level from the Pakistan Software Testing Board (PSTB). Abdul also completed courses such as "CYPRESS | Step-by-Step for Beginners | Hands-On Training" and "Selenium WebDriver With Python 3.x - Novice To Ninja" from Udemy in July 2022 and January 2022, respectively.

Moreover, Abdul Saboor has earned certifications in Strategic Thinking, Software Testing Foundations: Testing throughout the SDLC, and API Testing Foundations from LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained in consecutive years, with Strategic Thinking being acquired in October 2021, Software Testing Foundations in September 2021, and API Testing Foundations in January 2020.
