Karen Shelp

Karen Shelp has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Karen first worked at CVS Pharmacy from 1989 to 2008, holding the position of Retail Manager. In 2010, they joined Tioga Downs Casino as the HR & Benefits Manager, before being promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources at Tioga Downs Racing & Entertainment in 2013.

Karen Shelp attended SUNY Broome Community College from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Business Administration. Following their time at SUNY Broome, they enrolled at Binghamton University School of Management from 1987 to 1990. At Binghamton University, Karen pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Science with an HR Concentration.
