Bob Fast

Bob Fast has a vast and diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Bob started their career in 1982 at GE Mobile Radio and served as the Manager of Treasury and FP&A and later as the CFO of France. Bob then joined GE Information Services as the CFO of France and Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis - International. In 1990, they moved to GE Healthcare and held multiple positions including Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis - Southern Europe, Manager of Business Development - Southern Europe, Managing Director of the Middle East Africa region, Managing Director of Financial Services - Europe, and Managing Director of Australia & New Zealand. In 2001, they became the President & CEO of GE Capital IT Solutions - France, followed by a role as the VP of Business Development - IT Solutions at GE Capital. From 2003 to 2013, Bob held several executive positions at GE Equipment Services - Europe and TIP Group, including President & CEO and CEO of TIP Trailer Services. Most recently, they have been serving as a member of the European Transport Board since 2004.

Bob Fast completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History at the University of Virginia from 1975 to 1979. Prior to that, they attended Christchurch School in 1973 and Ecole Bilingue - Paris in 1972. Bob also attended Benjamin Syms from 1969 to 1972. Later on, they pursued a Master's degree in Business at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1980-1981 and a Master of Science in Management at Boston University in the same period.
