Gurprit Sandhu

Gurprit Sandhu has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Currently, they serve as the Head of Global Procurement at TIPA® Compostable Packaging. Prior to that, they held the role of Procurement Leader at Honeywell, where they oversaw direct materials and contract manufacturing. Before joining Honeywell, Sandhu worked at Coty as the Director of Indirect Procurement, responsible for managing various categories such as advertising, consumer promotion, and professional services. They also served as the Procurement Director for raw materials and cosmetic packaging components at Coty. Earlier in their career, Sandhu worked at G4S as a Global Procurement Manager, playing a key role in implementing best practices and transforming the company's procurement functions. They also worked at Kimberly-Clark as the EMEA Procurement Manager for packaging, where they achieved significant savings and managed supplier relationships. Before that, Sandhu was the Procurement Manager for packaging and raw materials at Coty, where they successfully managed large-scale projects. Prior to their procurement roles, Sandhu worked as a Futures Trader, specializing in stock market indices, bond markets, FX, and energy markets. They also gained experience as a Senior Buyer at Coinford Ltd, where they managed construction contracts and achieved cost savings through effective negotiation. Throughout their career, Sandhu has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong track record of achieving savings and successfully managing procurement operations.

Gurprit Sandhu completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic Procurement Management from Plymouth University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, Gurprit earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Financial Economics from Kingston University, from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Gurprit has obtained a certification from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply. In April 2015, they became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS).
