Malcolm Micallef

Malcolm Micallef has a diverse work experience. Malcolm started their career as a Freelance Web Designer from 2006 to 2009.

In 2009, they joined ARMS Ltd. as a BI Analyst specializing in SAP BW for ISU, where they worked on a project involving the implementation of a SAP with IS-U module. Malcolm was responsible for the migration of data to the new system. Malcolm worked at ARMS Ltd. until March 2012.

From 2012, Malcolm worked as a Business Intelligence and Analytics Consultant at Red Skios Ltd. Malcolm provided external consultations to various companies in Malta and Spain and worked with SAP BW and IBM products such as Cognos and Data Stage. Malcolm'sresponsibilities included support, performance enhancements, and new developments.

In 2015, Malcolm joined Tipico, initially as a Business Intelligence Developer until May 2017. Malcolm then served as the Business Intelligence Team Lead from June 2017 to December 2018. From January 2019 to November 2022, they held the position of Data Platform Manager. Currently, Malcolm is the VP of Data at Tipico - North America as of December 2022.

Malcolm Micallef obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Malta from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they received a certification in SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Intelligence with SAP Netweaver 7.0 from SAP in May 2011.
