Neil Rifkind has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Neil started their career as an Associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobsen in 1998 and worked there until 2006. During this time, they also had a secondment at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Principal Investment Area from 2002 to 2003. In 2006, they joined Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP as a Special Counsel and worked there until 2013. In 2009, they had a short secondment at Harbinger Capital Partners. Since 2013, Neil has served as the Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Tiptree Inc., a holding company with a focus on specialty insurance. Additionally, they became a Board Member of Fencers Club Inc in 2020, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the sport of fencing.
Neil Rifkind completed their Juris Doctor degree at the Boston University School of Law from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto in 1992. In 1989, Neil completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at the University of Chicago. Neil graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School in 1984.
