Kenneth Brown

Kenneth Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Kenneth began their career as a Safety Engineer at TKS Industrial Company, where they specialized in paint finishing systems for the automotive industry. Kenneth later joined Valvoline as a Sr. Safety Engineer and Safety Program Manager, overseeing safety and health initiatives for retail locations and manufacturing facilities. Kenneth also worked at Clopay Building Products as a Plant Safety Manager, implementing a world-class safety program. At Graceworks, they served as a Safety Risk Manager, managing the Workers' Compensation budget and representing the company at industrial commission hearings. Kenneth then joined Terex Services as a Regional Manager, where they managed a comprehensive safety program for field employees across multiple sites. Kenneth continued their EHS career at Spectrum Brands, managing EHS functions within the Global Auto Care Division. Kenneth also worked at Apex Tool Group, LLC, where they held roles as a Safety Coordinator and Facilities Manager, overseeing maintenance, heat treat, environment, health, and safety functions. Before their current position at Tire Discounters, Inc. as the Director of Safety and Compliance, Kenneth worked at American Battery Solutions Inc., where they held multiple roles including Environment, Health, Safety and Technical Services Manager, Environment, Health and Safety Manager, and Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator.

Kenneth Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology from Eastern Kentucky University. Kenneth has also obtained additional certifications, including being an OSHA 501 Trainer from Eastern Kentucky University, which they obtained in October 2014, and a Fall Protection Competent Person Trainer from Capital Safety, which they obtained in December 2011.
