Janusz Skonieczny

Janusz Skonieczny has worked in the IT industry for over two decades. Janusz began their career in 1998 as an IT Service Support at Tulip Computers. Janusz then moved to Compaq in 2000 as a Customer Service Consultant. In 2001, they joined JAVART Sp. z o.o. as a Project Manager and Software Designer/Programmer. In 2003, they became the CTO and Director of Production at Internetium Sp. z o.o., where they were responsible for the company's team of developers, their technology proficiency, and training directions. From 2006 to 2018, they were the CTO at Qualent Software Sp. z o.o., managing all operations in services and software production and supporting the CEO in sales and marketing activities. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Brave Labs as an IT Consultant and CEO, primarily focused on developing an internet platform for education. In 2019, they joined Webinterpret as a Tech Lead and Senior Python Developer, where they were responsible for software architecture design, feature implementations, and code reviews. In 2022, they became a Senior Python Engineer at Adverity, advocating for the use of SOLID principles and design patterns, as well as the introduction of tactical DDD and bounded contexts. Janusz is currently a Principal Software Developer at TireTutor.

Janusz Skonieczny's education history includes a MSc in Computer Science, Computer networks & Systems from Warsaw University of Technology between 2001 and 2003, a BSc in Computer Science, Computer systems & networks from Warsaw University of Technology between 1997 and 2001, an HND in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Fife College of Further and Higher Education between 1996 and 1997, a Technik Elektronik in Digital Electronics from Engineering High school (Technikum elektroniczne gen. Zajączka) between 1993 and 1996, and primary education from Wladyslawa Orkana between 1985 and 1993. Additionally, Janusz Skonieczny has obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, and Microsoft Certified Application Developer. Janusz has also obtained a Duolingo German Fluency: Beginner (Estimated) certification from Duolingo.
