Angela L.

Angela L. is a Graduate Student Researcher at UNC Health since May 2024, with extensive experience in various pharmacy settings through multiple internships, including roles in hepatology, acute care, solid organ transplant, outpatient pharmacy, oncology, and health systems administration. Angela also serves as a Clinical Development Intern at Tisento Therapeutics and recently completed a Medical Science Liaison externship at Amgen, focusing on cardiometabolic, inflammation, and bone health areas. Previous experience includes a Medical Communications externship at Cencora and a consultant role with Biotech Connection - Bay Area, Inc. Angela's background includes a Safety Data Sciences internship at AbbVie in oncology, immunology, and neuroscience, as well as a research assistant position at UW Carbone Cancer Center, where research involved immune checkpoint inhibitors. Angela holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
