Laurie Minott is the Managing Principal for Ascend Consulting Group, a firm that specializes in executive team coaching and development and organizational culture transformation. Formerly a Partner and Senior Strategic Advisor in the Great Place to Work® Consulting Practice, Laurie coached CEOs and executive leadership teams and advised them on how to develop and implement effective culture change strategies, including DE&I strategies, for their organizations.
Laurie has deep experience in advancing business results through developing and implementing solutions that deepen organizational trust, develop leadership capabilities and support meaningful change. She is passionate about equipping executives and leaders with the tools and insights they need to create a work environment in which all employees thrive and fully contribute to an organization’s success. She has deep experience leading culture change including her own direct experience as a healthcare human resources executive in an organization that successfully built a high-performing culture earning recognition as a Best Place to Work in Healthcare. Laurie has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles and over 10 years of experience consulting with organizations in a variety of industries including healthcare, telecommunications, biotechnology, finance, hospitality and manufacturing and included clients such as Wegmans Food Markets, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Brooks Brothers, Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts, Roche Diagnostics, among others.
Laurie holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Husson University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and a M.S. in Organizational Development from Case Western Reserve University.
A nature lover and national parks enthusiast, Laurie and her two (now adult) sons have a family tradition of exploring a different national park each year. Laurie has visited 36 of the 63 US National Parks and has a personal goal to see all of them.
