Jeff Gould

Jeff Gould, MD, currently serves as Medical Director at Headway since November 2023 and holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at Aware Healthcare since August 2022. In addition, Jeff Gould has been the Psychiatry Department Chair at Sutter Health since July 2021 and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco since July 2001, also contributing as faculty in the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship. Previously, Jeff Gould was the Behavioral Health Medical Director at Wheel from November 2020 to September 2023, focusing on the development and management of behavioral health services for a national telehealth organization. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Physician Services at Telecare from May 2015 to October 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing medical services across multiple psychiatric programs. Jeff Gould earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, with additional education from the San Mateo County Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco.
