Melinda Criddle Sphr

Melinda Criddle, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in various industries. Melinda currently serves as the Corporate Human Resources Director at Title Financial Corporation since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Aftermarket Performance Group (APG) from 2017 to 2022. At APG, Melinda oversaw all HR functions for the company's multiple divisions and locations across different states and countries.

Before their role at APG, Melinda worked as the Human Resources Manager at Premier Performance Products from 2013 to 2020. During their tenure, they established HR policies and procedures, evaluated HR functions, and managed HR activities for multiple locations.

Melinda also has experience working in the non-profit sector, having served as an Advocate at the Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center from 2011 to 2013, providing support and services to victims.

Melinda began their career as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at CenturyLink in 2011, where they handled various HR responsibilities. Prior to that, Melinda worked at American Insurance Service as an Account Services representative, assisting clients with their benefit packages.

Additionally, Melinda has over 14 years of experience in employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and employment law, gained from their role at Convergys from 1993 to 2007.

Melinda Criddle, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained their high school diploma from Roy High School. Melinda then pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from American InterContinental University from 2004 to 2006. In 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Human Resource Management from Western Governors University. Melinda continues to update their skillset and certifications, having obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from HR Certification Institute in December 2011, followed by the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in December 2015. More recently, they obtained the Certified Plan Sponsor Professional certification from the Plan Sponsor Council of America in December 2020 and became a member of the SHRM Executive Network in February 2023.
