Gabriela Laverde

Gabriela Laverde has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Gabriela started their career as an English Teacher with A Broader View Volunteers Corp in 2016, where they taught English in an orphanage and gained insight into Indian culture and traditions. In 2017, Gabriela worked as a Project Lead for Tim Canova for Congress, where they managed a team, formulated social media strategies, and raised awareness for the candidates' agenda. Gabriela then worked as a Customer Service representative at Om'echaye in 2019 and also took on the role of Social Media Manager during the same period. In 2020, Gabriela volunteered as a Community Volunteer at Mount Mahabharat, where they learned sustainable farming techniques and immersed herself in Nepali culture. In 2021, they worked as the Office Manager and Patient Coordinator at Dr. Karp's Wellness Center, acquiring valuable experience in healthcare administration. Gabriela's most recent position is Vice Chair at the City of Hallandale Beach, a role they have held since 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Customer Success at Tixta, a position they assumed in 2023. Throughout their career, Gabriela has demonstrated flexibility, cultural adaptability, and a commitment to community engagement.

Gabriela Laverde's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Florida International University, which they completed from 2018 to 2021. Gabriela also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, they completed a Level 3 Reiki Practitioner course at Escuela Fahad and obtained a Certificate in Spirituality from Florida International University. Additionally, they completed a Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy program at Yogada in 2021. In 2022, they pursued a Holistic Health Practitioner degree from Trinity School of Natural Health, and in the same year, they obtained a Certification in Emotional Biodecoding from the American Institute of Emotional Biodecoding.
