Birk Billingsley

Birk Billingsley is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at TK Elevator since August 2020, previously holding the position of Senior Legal Counsel. Birk has extensive experience in legal leadership roles, having served as General Counsel at National Salvage & Service Corporation from 2016 to August 2020 and as a Senior Associate at Krieg DeVault LLP, focusing on complex litigation and transactional matters from 2008 to 2015. Prior to these roles, Birk was an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, specializing in Intellectual Property and managing pro bono cases. Birk's career began as a Military Officer (Captain) in the United States Air Force, contributing to classified flight test programs. Birk holds a JD from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, a Master of Science in Engineering from Purdue University, and has studied Astronautical Engineering at the United States Naval Academy, along with an exchange program at Temple Law School Japan Campus.
