Daniel Kristensen has worked in the software engineering field since 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they worked for the US Army as a Satellite Communications operator, where they maintained a SECRET clearance and operated and maintained high-priority communications links over ground and space links with a wide variety of user terminals. In 2011, they joined Garmin as a Technical Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they developed and maintained low level hardware interfaces written in C and Assembler for ARM platforms, integrated changes in functionality and troubleshot GUI element interaction with hardware drivers using C++, and developed Windows GUI and command-line tools for internal use by hardware and software engineers. In 2022, they joined TKLABS as a Senior Software Engineer.
Daniel Kristensen attended Electronics Institute from 1999-2000, earning an Associate of Science (AS) in Electronics. Daniel then attended DeVry University from 2002-2004 and again from 2009-2011, earning two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Computer Engineering Technology.
