John Hinkle

John Hinkle has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. John is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and CIO/CISO at TLM Partners since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Board Member at Make-A-Wish Northeast New York starting from August 2015.

From 2013 to 2021, John worked at CommerceHub, initially as the CIO/CISO and later as the EVP Technical Operations. In this role, they were responsible for various operational aspects of the business, including IT, Customer Operations, Software Engineering, Information Security, Procurement, Facilities/Real Estate, and Human Resources. During their tenure, the company experienced significant growth, increasing its revenue from $60 million to a valuation of $1.9 billion.

Before joining CommerceHub, John served as the Chief Information Officer and Head of Americas Operations at Take-Two Interactive Software from September 2007 to July 2013. John led initiatives to consolidate ERP systems, outsource warehouse and distribution services, and reduce costs.

From 2004 to 2007, John worked as the VP, CIO at Trans World Entertainment. John successfully led multiple retail acquisition integrations and created a partnership with AT&T to reduce network costs.

Prior to that, John held the role of Americas CIO at GE Silicones from 2001 to 2004. John led a global SAP implementation project and played a vital role in the integration of a $500 million acquisition.

From 1998 to 2004, John worked at GE Plastics as the CTO, e-Business. John was responsible for building the initial data center architecture for e-commerce sites and leading the IT team for the proposed acquisition of Honeywell.

John's early work experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at The Sage Colleges-Sage College of Albany from 1991 to 1994.

John Hinkle obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1989, after completing their education from 1983 to 1989. John further pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution, studying from 1987 to 1989.
