Alex Horvath

Alex Horvath, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for TMC Health, has an extensive background in health care-related human resources. In his role, Horvath supports the strategic direction of the organization, particularly in acquisition of talent, leadership growth and organizational performance.

Prior to joining TMC Health in 2016, Horvath served as chief human resource officer for Methodist Hospitals Inc. in Merrillville, Indiana, where he was responsible for all human resources, communications, employee assistance programming, community outreach and wellness functions within the multi-hospital system.

Prior to Methodist Hospitals, he worked at Advocate Bromenn Healthcare, Bloomington, Illinois, and Naperville Community Health Services, Naperville, Illinois.

Horvath earned a bachelor’s degree from Aurora University and a master’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago. He specializes in talent management, coaching, executive development and strategic planning. He has earned executive certifications from Harvard University and University of Michigan and serves as an active member of the Pima County Workforce Investment Board.
