Kelsey Birney

Kelsey Birney has extensive experience in the legal field, starting in 2011 with the New York County District Attorney's Office as a Trial Preparation Assistant. Following that, in 2013, they pursued their J.D. degree at Vanderbilt University Law School, where they served as a J.D. Candidate. In 2014, they gained further experience as an Intern at the U.S. District Courts. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Associate at Milbank LLP. From 2016 to 2021, Kelsey served as an Associate at Milbank LLP. In 2019, they took on the role of a Legal Secondee - Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs. In 2021, they became a Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Kelsey currently works as an Associate General Counsel at TMRW Life Sciences, starting in March 2022.

Kelsey Birney pursued their education at Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Government, Education, and International Relations. Kelsey attended Cornell from 2007 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Vanderbilt University Law School and successfully received a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from there. Kelsey completed their JD program from 2013 to 2016.
