Mark Swift

Mark Swift is the VP of Technology at TMRW Life Sciences. Mark has also worked as the Head of Operations at Labman Automation from September 2020 to January 2022, where they were responsible for Quality Management, Project Management, Workshop and Fabrication, Customer Service, Field Service, Building Management and Hospitality / Business Support.

During their time at Labman Automation, Mark facilitated the largest structural change to the business in over 30 years. Mark transitioned the business from an archaic intranet platform to a world leading CRM, and overhauled the service and support business unit. Mark also introduced several fundamental changes to drive continuous improvement.

One of the highlights of Mark's time at Labman Automation was developing a strategic plan to radically redesign the service and support business unit. Mark developed and implemented a new online customer support portal - providing customers on-demand access to their support case information, asset information, work orders and a comprehensive reporting tool. Mark also developed a new commercial framework to effectively capture service and support opportunities - integrated the selling of service / support products (with a focus on warranties) into the sales cycle via simple, robust process. Lastly, they designed new feedback loops to capture valuable field service feedback and provide engineering data for continuous improvement - removing historical silos and improving knowledge sharing.

Mark Swift has a degree in Nautical Science from South Shields Marine College. Mark has worked in the shipping and marine industry for many years.
