Alvin Lau

Alvin Lau has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Alvin is currently working at Mindful Health Solutions as an Associate Chief of Training and Innovation. Prior to this, they held the position of Section Chief and Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at the San Francisco VA Health Care System. Alvin also served as a Clinical Associate Professor at UCSF Medical Center and as an Attending Physician at the University of California, San Francisco. Earlier in their career, they were the Mental Health Primary Care Medical Director at San Mateo Medical Center. Alvin Lau completed their Psychosomatics Fellowship at the University of Washington and their residency at UC Davis Health System.

Alvin Lau completed their education at several prestigious institutions. Alvin obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cell Biology from the University of California, Davis from 1996 to 2001.
