Shady Shebak

Shady Shebak serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Core Psych, PLLC, which has expanded to two locations providing culturally competent mental health services since its establishment in November 2018. In addition to overseeing Core Psych, PLLC, Shady Shebak is the Chief Executive Officer of VitaCore Spa, focusing on modern wellness and rejuvenating therapies, and leads Core Psych Medical Education, LLC, which facilitates educational opportunities for medical and PA students. As a psychiatrist at Greenbrook since October 2021, Shady Shebak has established valuable collaborations for treatment-resistant depression, contributing to the success of the Greenbrook TMS Dearborn site. Involvement with MOVE demonstrates a commitment to personal growth and cultural understanding through educational initiatives. Previous positions include work as a psychiatrist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and fellowship training at Michigan State University. Shady Shebak holds an MD from the American University of the Caribbean, an MEd from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
