He is an AMPP Senior Certified Coatings Inspector and is heavily involved in AMPP committees both on the national and regional level. In addition to these affiliations, he is also involved with the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), ASTM International, the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), as well as the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
