Dr. Ir. Coco Rulinda - van der Meer

Dr. Ir. Coco Rulinda currently serves as Project Manager for Data Ecosystems at TNO since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager at Cyclomedia Technology and Geo-IT consultant at Voort. In previous positions, Rulinda contributed as a GIS-ICT consultant at Merkator, Application Process Consultant for Alliander, and GIS specialist at IF Technology, focusing on project coordination, data engineering, and data analysis. Academic roles include Assistant Professor of Geoinformatics at Mekelle University and Lecturer in Computer Science and affiliated researcher in GIS/Remote Sensing at the National University of Rwanda, alongside a research fellowship at the University of Twente. Rulinda holds a PhD and MSc in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation, as well as a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering, with significant contributions to spatial data quality and remote sensing research.
