Alyssa Hornby

Alyssa Hornby has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design and art direction. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Head Designer's Assistant at Details Design Studio, gaining hands-on experience in designing and assembling custom cards and invitations. In 2014, they interned at Hoodzpah Design Co., followed by a junior designer role at the same company in 2015. Alyssa also worked as a freelance designer for Firestone Walker Brewing Company during this time. In 2016, Alyssa joined Wunderman as a Junior Art Director and later worked as a Graphic Designer on a contract basis at Drybar. Alyssa then became a Graphic Designer specializing in event and education at Too Faced Cosmetics. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer on a contract basis at Boost Mobile, creating various print and digital materials. From 2019 to 2021, Alyssa served as a Creative Designer and later as an Art Director (805 Beer) at Firestone Walker Brewing Company, leading creative projects for 805 Beer and other brands within the company. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Art Director at Toad&Co.

Alyssa Hornby attended Corona del Mar High School from 2008 to 2011. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2011 to 2015. During their time at the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Graphic Design.
