Sarah Fanous

Sarah Fanous is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and quality assurance within the energy management sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Toast since November 2021, Sarah leads the Business Platform Systems Team, focusing on scalable and resilient solutions. Prior to this, Sarah held various leadership roles at Enel X from 2013 to 2021, including Director of Software Engineering, where the foundation for global demand response solutions was developed. Earlier experience includes project management and quality assurance positions at EnerNOC and other organizations, with a strong emphasis on agile methodologies and team collaboration. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
