Chris Bertrand

Chris Bertrand has been working in the software development industry since 2008. In 2011, they began working as a Software Engineer at Abritas. In 2013, they became a Senior Developer and Software Engineer at Capita | Software services. In 2018, they moved to Sage People as a Senior Developer. In 2020, they joined both Spire Healthcare Group plc and Aldermore Bank PLC as a Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Head of Development and Principal Software Engineer at Toca.io, where they are solving complex development and integration challenges faster and at a fraction of the cost with Toca's powerful combination of apps, automation and extensible integration in a single low-code platform.

Chris Bertrand obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia between 2005 and 2008. 💻 Chris also holds certifications from LinkedIn in JavaScript: Closures, Learning Functional Programming with JavaScript, Angular: Building Large Applications, and Node.js: Design Patterns, all obtained in 2019. In addition, they hholda Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) certification from Microsoft, obtained in 2014.
