Nicolas Barret

Nicolas Barret has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nicolas is currently the Managing Director at iBASIS since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at TOFANE GLOBAL starting in September 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Managing Partner at onoff Telecom. Before that, they held the position of Head of Altice International Carrier at Altice Group from 2017 to 2018. Nicolas also worked at SFR for a significant duration, starting in 2009, where they served as the International VP. At SFR, they were responsible for various roles such as Wholesale Roaming Negotiations, International Carrier Services, and International Mobile Services. Prior to SFR, they were the Wholesale Director at Neuf Cegetel from 2005 to 2009. Nicolas started their career at MCI as a Wholesale Sales Manager from 2000 to 2005, where they successfully developed the French resellers, ISP, and Carrier market. Nicolas commenced their professional journey at Western Telecom as a Sales Manager, overseeing the launch of the Belgian branch and organizing direct and sales channels for the SME Market from 1998 to 2000.

Nicolas Barret completed their Master's degree in Finance from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Nicolas then pursued a Postgraduate Degree (DESS) in Sales & Negotiations from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, completing it from 1996 to 1997.
