Patrick George

Patrick George has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Patrick currently serves as the Group Chief Strategy Officer at iBASIS since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Vice President of Product and Business Development at iBASIS from February 2019 to May 2022. Before joining iBASIS, they co-founded TOFANE GLOBAL in 2017 and held the positions of Co-founder and Group Chief Strategy Officer. Patrick was also the Senior Vice President of Product, Strategy, and M&A at TOFANE GLOBAL from September 2018 to October 2022. Patrick George has experience in investment and start-ups as the CEO and Co-founder of Notger Invest S.A. since February 2014. Patrick has also held non-executive positions as the Chairman of the Board at Xpress Biologics from April 2014 to July 2021, and at Aquatic Science from February 2015 to January 2020. Additionally, they have served in advisory roles such as a Board Member at Cellavision MMP from November 2016 to August 2018 and as a Member of the Advisory Board at HOT TELECOM from July 2016 to July 2018. Patrick George's expertise extends to the telecommunications industry, where they worked as the Head of Mobile Ecosystem on a consulting assignment at PCCW GLOBAL from March 2014 to September 2016 and as a Consultant for Mobile Services at Orange International Carrier Services from October 2013 to February 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President of Global Solutions at Syniverse Technologies from March 2011 to August 2013.

Patrick George attended the University of Liège from 1988 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Electricity & Computer Science/Telecom. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in a short-term Executive Program at INSEAD in 1999, focusing on Marketing Telecommunications.
