Jaime Athos

Jaime Athos has been involved in the plant-based foods industry for over 14 years. Jaime is currently the President and CEO of The Tofurky Company, a role they have held since 2005. Prior to this, they held a variety of positions within the company, including roles in quality assurance, research and development, and operations. Jaime is also a Founding Board Member and Secretary of the Board for the Plant Based Foods Association, and CEO of Camp Athos. Before their current roles, they were a Visiting Scientist at the NOAA Northwest Fisheries Science Center from 2004 to 2005, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington Department of Pharmacology from 2002 to 2004.

Jaime Athos obtained a B.Sc. in Fish Biology from the University of Washington between 1992 and 1996. Afterwards, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Behavior in 2002.
