Colin C. has a diverse work experience in data protection and information security. Colin is currently employed at Together - loans, mortgages & finance as the Group Head of Data Protection and Information Security, a role they started in March 2023. Prior to this, Colin served as the Group Data Protection Officer at the same company from March 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Together, Colin was the Managing Director at CRC Consulting (Scotland) Limited from June 2020 to July 2022. Colin also worked as the Data Protection Services Director at The Specialists Hub from July 2020 to June 2021.

Colin C. completed their Post Graduate Certificate in Data Protection Law and Information Governance from Northumbria University in the year 2017. Prior to that, they attended Reid Kerr College from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued an HNC in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

In addition to their formal education, Colin also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they received the EU GDPR Data Protection Regulation Foundation (GDPR F) certification from IBITGQ. Colin also holds the ITIL Foundation Level certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, which they obtained in 2016. In 2015, Colin obtained the Data Protection Practitioners Certificate from Act Now Training Ltd.
