John Barker

John Barker has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John is currently serving as the Group Chief Operating Officer at Together - loans, mortgages & finance, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, John worked at Target Group, where they held the roles of Chief Executive Officer from September 2022 to June 2023 and Chief Operating Officer from September 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Target Group, John had a long tenure at Capita, starting as a Customer Service Team Manager in November 2007 and progressing through various positions including Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Director of Operations, and finally, Managing Director from October 2019 to September 2021.

John's career began in 2005 at Co-op Insurance as a Customer Service Advisor, and they later became a Customer Service Team Manager from June 2006 to November 2007.
