Dr Ann Smith Cenv Fiema Ehf

Dr. Ann Smith CEnv FIEMA EHF is a highly accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental management. Currently serving as a Council Member for the Science Based Targets initiative and a member of the Letters from the Atmosphere initiative, Dr. Smith also leads Ann Smith Limited, offering consultancy services to various organizations including the Ministry for the Environment and New Zealand Post. Additionally, Dr. Smith is the Convenor for the Standards New Zealand ISO/TC207/SC7 International Review Group, an Associate at EnviroStrat, and a member of the Ecodesign Advisory Board for Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. With a background as Chief Executive Officer at Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research and Professor of Environmental Management at the University of Hertfordshire, Dr. Smith has significantly contributed to the development of greenhouse gas certification schemes and shaped environmental education through various academic roles. Dr. Smith holds a PhD in Marine Biology from the University of London and a BSc(Hons) in Botany and Psychology from the University of Adelaide.
