Ernest Fung

Ernest Fung has extensive experience in corporate development and finance. Ernest currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Development & Corporate Finance at GoTo Group since July 2021. Prior to this, they were the Chief Investment Officer at Tokopedia and held the role of Senior Vice President from May 2019 to July 2021. Ernest previously worked at JD.COM as the Senior Director, Head of International Corporate Development from December 2014 to April 2019. Ernest started their career at Citi as the Director, TMT Investment Banking in July 2003, where they worked until March 2014.

Ernest Fung's education history begins with their studies at Shatin College from 1992 to 1995. Ernest then attended Upper Canada College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned an International Baccalaureate. Moving on to higher education, Ernest attended Cornell University from 1999 to 2002 and completed their Bachelor of Science in Operations Research. Continuing their studies at Cornell, they obtained a Master of Engineering in Financing Engineering from 2002 to 2003.
