Cheryl Smith

Cheryl Smith is an experienced academic professional with a background in tutoring and education. Currently serving as an Academic Tutor at Tokyo Academics since October 2020, Cheryl has previously held the position of Assistant Language Teacher with the UK JET Programme from July 2018 to August 2023. Cheryl's earlier roles include Head Writing Consultant at Claremont McKenna College from January 2015 to July 2018, where responsibilities included event planning related to writing, and Resident Assistant, facilitating student life and engagement. Additional experience includes serving as a Maître D' and a Student Tutor at Sycamore Elementary School. Cheryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Claremont McKenna College and completed a study abroad semester at James Cook University in 2016.
