Douglas Vreeland

Douglas Vreeland is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of U.S. Legal & Compliance at Tokyo Electron US since March 2016, Vreeland has a robust background in legal and compliance matters, having held positions including Senior Director and Department Head, and Senior Attorney. Prior to joining Tokyo Electron, Vreeland was In House Counsel at WP Engine, contributing to a high-energy startup environment. Vreeland also held the role of Senior Legal Counsel at Dell, where responsibilities included managing legal issues for a domestic manufacturing facility and conducting high-stakes internal investigations. Vreeland began the legal career as an Associate Litigation Attorney at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP, focusing on business and civil rights litigation. Vreeland holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from North Carolina State University.
