Steven Kruse

Steven Kruse is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in viola performance and instruction. Currently serving as the Director and Arranger at String Play for All since 2014, Steven creates educational arrangements accessible to students of all technical levels. For over two decades, Steven has been a Suzuki Instructor at the Toledo Symphony School of Music and has held faculty positions at various institutions, including Heidelberg University and West Virginia University. Steven's performance career includes significant roles such as Principal Viola for the Flint Symphony and the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, as well as participation in esteemed ensembles like the Eastern Philharmonic Orchestra. Steven's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a Doctor of Arts in Music from Ball State University.
