Didac Santesmasses

Didac Santesmasses is a Senior Scientist at Tome Biosciences since July 2022, specializing in gene editing off-target discovery for CRISPR/Cas9 and Large Serine Integrases, as well as NGS pipeline development and cloud computing solutions. Previously, Didac served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from July 2018 to July 2022, focusing on comparative genomics and the effects of protein-truncating variants, which included significant publications utilizing gnomAD and the UK Biobank. Didac also held a similar position at University College Cork, investigating selenium supplementation's impact on ribosomal behavior. Didac's academic journey includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, advanced training in the same field, and an undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the same institution.
