Mahant Thangavelu

Mahant Thangavelu is a skilled professional in the field of structural biology and downstream processing, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Tome Biosciences since February 2023. In this role, Mahant has successfully led the expression and purification of over 25 large serine integrase enzymes, overseeing operations of AKTA instruments for various chromatography techniques. Prior experience includes positions at GSK as an Associate Scientist, focusing on analytics for downstream processes, and as a Research Associate at Affinivax, along with a research co-op at EMD Serono, where tasks involved measuring stability and purity of biotherapeutics.
