Jimmy Fang

Jimmy Fang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jimmy started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft in 2015, where they designed and implemented features for Excel for iOS and developed automation tests. Jimmy then joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer, working from September 2016 to December 2017.

In 2018, Jimmy joined Lyft as a Senior Software Engineer, assuming leadership roles in the recommendations platform, passenger growth, and acquisitions team. Jimmy was also a founding engineer on the High Value Modes team. Jimmy's experience at Lyft lasted until June 2020.

Following their tenure at Lyft, Jimmy worked at Robinhood as a Tech Lead/Manager. Jimmy played a key role in designing and implementing the backend, accounting, and operations infrastructure for the Cash Organization, from idea to product release. This included being an early hire and contributing to the product release. Their role at Robinhood started in November 2020 and ended in October 2022.

Most recently, Jimmy joined Tome as a Software Engineer in June 2023.

Jimmy Fang attended Langley High School from 2008 to 2012. Jimmy then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Duke University from 2012 to 2016.
