Zac O. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Zac started their career as an Opinion Editor for The Classic, the Townsend Harris High School Student Newspaper, from September 2013 to June 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Rotational Intern at The Peninsula Hotels, where they gained exposure to Communications, Revenue, and Human Resources roles. Concurrently, from September 2016 to June 2017, they also served as a Student Consultant at campusCATALYST.

In 2017, Zac interned as a Revenue Analyst at The Peninsula Hotels and later in 2018, they worked as a Business Analyst Intern at Starbutter AI. In 2019, they joined Flexport as a Data Operations Associate, where they managed shipments for enterprise customers while also participating in a grassroots analytics program called "Data Local Leaders."

Zac's next role was at Coda, where they started in August 2020 as a Customer Operations specialist and later transitioned to a Product Specialist position. In this role, they contributed significantly to the company by decreasing churn for enterprise customers, launching integrations for Jira and Asana, and leading solution engineering calls for key clients.

Most recently, Zac joined Tome in March 2023 as a Product Specialist, working on the future of visual storytelling powered by AI.

Zac O. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, graduating in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Townsend Harris High School from 2011 to 2015. Zac O. also holds additional certifications including Agile Software Development and Cert Prep: Scrum Master obtained in January 2023, as well as Unconscious Bias certification attained in July 2020, all from LinkedIn.
