Arjun Banerjee

Arjun Banerjee has a diverse work experience that includes roles in engineering, entrepreneurship, research, and internships.

Arjun is currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Co-founder at tomtA, where they focus on creating ML solutions using anonymized real data and preserving its attributes. Arjun is also the Chief of Product in the same company.

Prior to tomtA, Arjun was the CEO and Co-founder of Pridatex, where they developed data privacy software that minimizes the risk of data privacy leaks. This software satisfies Differential Privacy and was a part of Plug and Play Insurtech Batch 8.

Arjun has also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, where they researched combining Differential Privacy and k-Anonymity for improved individual privacy. Additionally, they developed the Agile framework called Lean Scrum to reduce waste in software development.

During their college years, Arjun founded Visorware and created a computer vision algorithm to enhance heads-up displays for drivers, making them safer and less distracting.

Early in their career, Arjun worked as an Image Processing Algorithms Development Intern at DCG Systems, where they developed image processing software and algorithms.

Arjun Banerjee has demonstrated a strong background in engineering, entrepreneurship, research, and data privacy throughout their work experience.

Arjun Banerjee pursued their education chronologically starting from high school. From 2010 to 2014, they attended Mission San Jose High School and obtained their High School Diploma. Subsequently, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Moving forward, Arjun continued their academic journey by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley between 2019 and 2021. Additionally, they obtained a certification called the "BigID AppDev Pro Course" from BigID in March 2021.
