Jason Goulden

Jason Goulden has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Jason is currently serving as the VP of Hardware Engineering at Tonal, a position they have held since October 2022. Before that, they worked as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Tonal from July 2022 to October 2022, and as the Director of Mechanical Engineering from August 2021 to July 2022.

Prior to their time at Tonal, Jason worked at Google, Nest as a Product Design professional from November 2014 to July 2021. Jason also worked at Lab126 as a Product Design/System Lead from September 2012 to November 2014.

Before their tenure at Google and Lab126, Jason gained experience at Cisco as a Technical Lead from January 2008 to September 2012.

Jason also held managerial positions at Ditech Networks as the Manager of Mechanical Engineering from August 2006 to January 2008.

Earlier in their career, Jason was a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Trimble Navigation, Ltd from July 2004 to August 2006, at JDSU from July 2003 to July 2004, and at Altamar Networks/Ditech Communications from July 2001 to July 2003.

Jason began their engineering career as a Mechanical Engineer at Metricom Inc. (Ricochet) from December 1999 to July 2001 and at Trimble Navigation, Ltd from July 1998 to December 1999.

Jason Goulden attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1998. Jason also obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in September 2006.
