Kaushik Saraf

Kaushik Saraf has a diverse and extensive work experience in various finance roles. Kaushik started their career as a Management Trainee in Finance & Accounts at JVL Agro Industries Ltd., where they were responsible for setting up processes, internal audit, inventory control, and reporting. Kaushik then moved on to GTPL Kolkata Cable & Broadband Pariseva Ltd. as a Manager in Finance & Accounts, overseeing the F&A function and driving the P&L for a yearly revenue of over 100 Cr+.

Later, Kaushik joined Infosys as an Associate Manager in Business Finance, where they focused on financial planning and analysis for a $1 billion Line of Business. Kaushik also played a key role in a cost optimization initiative at the organization level. Kaushik went on to become a Consultant at Infosys, where they worked on identifying financial and operational metrics and conducting financial modeling.

After Infosys, Kaushik joined OYO as a Senior Finance Manager, managing the Commercial Finance function for the East & North East region with a yearly GMV of ~INR 500 Cr. Kaushik was instrumental in building the finance function and enabling commercial excellence.

Most recently, Kaushik has been working at udaan.com, initially as a Regional Commercial Finance Manager, responsible for the ambitious expansion of the Foods business in the East & North East regions. Kaushik later took on the role of Head of Category Finance for the Fresh category, where they focused on establishing systems and processes for P&L visibility and category growth. Currently, Kaushik holds the position of Chief Manager - Finance at RPSG (FMCG) - Guiltfree Industries Limited.

Kaushik Saraf has a strong education background in the field of finance and accounting. Kaushik first obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier's College in 2009. In the same year, they also pursued a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree from ICFAI, completing it in 2009. From 2009 to 2015, they further enhanced their financial expertise by obtaining a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree from the CFA Institute. In 2007, they began their studies at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they successfully earned a Chartered Accountant degree in 2011. Additionally, Kaushik completed their high school education in commerce from The Frank Anthony Public School in Kolkata in 2006.
