Matthew Burt

Matthew Burt is currently the Vice President of Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology, where responsibilities include organizing events, coordinating meeting notes, and serving as a liaison between students and faculty at Claremont Graduate University (CGU). As a Doctoral Student at CGU since August 2022, Matthew focuses research on the use of humorous language to reduce bias among distinct groups. Prior experience includes work as a Student Admissions Worker at CGU, assisting prospective students, and various roles at Toontown Rewritten since September 2018, including Game Designer, Moderator, and Creative Writer. Matthew completed a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology at Humboldt State University, where studies extended from August 2017 to August 2022.
