Igor Belyayev

Igor Belyayev is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Top Hat, a position held since December 2022, where responsibilities include leading STEM product engineering. Prior to this role, Igor co-founded Aktiv Learning in March 2016 and served as CTO until its acquisition by Top Hat in December 2022, significantly contributing to the success of a Math and Chemistry platform in higher education. Earlier career experiences include working as an Android Developer at Jet.com and The Hackerati, where Android apps were developed for high-profile clients such as MTV and The Huffington Post. Igor began the professional journey as an intern at PepsiCo in 2012, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, completed in 2012, and education at Boston Latin School from 2004 to 2008.
