Shantanu Surpure has a diverse work experience spanning across various legal roles and organizations. Shantanu currently holds the position of Coordinator at Transatlantic Law International and is also the Managing Attorney at Surpure Law PLLC. In addition, Shantanu is the Co-Chair of the North America Chapter at Crypto Valley Association and the Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs Working Group at Top Tier Impact. Shantanu is also a Charter Member at TiE and a Co-Founder of New Normal Capital. Previously, they served as a Partner at Inventus Law and Of Counsel at King & Wood Mallesons. Shantanu began their career as a Managing Attorney at Sand Hill Counsel, where they provided legal advice on cross-border venture capital/private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and various other areas of law. Prior to that, they worked as a Corporate/Venture Capital Senior Associate Attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

Shantanu Surpure has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Columbia Law School. Shantanu also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford. Shantanu obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Philosophy from Brown University, and also completed the General Course program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Additionally, they have a Certificate in Public International Law from the Hague Academy of International Law.
