Emily Glass has held various roles in the field of HR and talent acquisition throughout their career. Emily started their professional journey in 2010 as a Recruiter at The Walsh Group, a prominent family-owned construction company. During their time there, they also served as a Proposal & Research Specialist for the Aviation Building Group, specializing in proposal writing, editing, and research for new aviation project leads.

In 2017, Emily joined Topco Associates LLC, the largest retail cooperative in the United States, as a Talent Acquisition Manager. In this role, they were responsible for nationwide staffing and talent acquisition processes, including candidate engagement, sourcing, screening, and offer negotiation. Emily also played a pivotal role in developing recruiting strategies and managing the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS).
