Chris Georgen

Chris Georgen is the founder and chief architect of Topl, a blockchain-enabled company focused on the development mobile payments and customer engagement for small, brick-and-mortar businesses. Prior to Topl, Georgen was the founder of Sling Financial Technologies, where they oversaw successful launch across more than a dozen commercial customers. Georgen has also undertaken various research projects in solid state chemistry and condensed matter physics as a researcher at Rice University's Quantum Materials Lab. In addition, Georgen has experience in health and maintenance management from their time at Rice Coffeehouse.

Chris Georgen received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Physics from Rice University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics and Philosophy. Chris also attended Carmel Catholic High School.

Chris Georgen reports to Kim Raath, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Aaron Schutza - Director of Research, James Aman - Founder & CTO, and Anna Mcguffee - Chief of Staff.
